PoseMe — Privacy Policy

PoseMe ("we", "us") is an AI camera app that suggests better poses for your photos. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Photos

When you generate or retouch a photo, a resized copy of it is uploaded to our server and processed by Google's Gemini API to create the result. Uploaded copies are processed in memory and are not kept as a photo library on our side. Generated results are stored on our storage provider (Vercel Blob) at unguessable URLs so your app can display and re-download them. Your original photos stay on your device at full resolution; we never modify them.

Face data

PoseMe does not perform facial recognition and does not create faceprints, facial geometry maps, or any other biometric identifiers or templates. The photos you choose to process may contain your face; they are used solely as pixel input for the one-time AI edit you requested and for no other purpose.

Before your first generation, the app asks for your explicit consent and explains that your chosen photo will be sent to Google's Gemini API for processing. A resized copy of your photo is then transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our server and forwarded to Google's Gemini API to generate the edited image. Input copies are processed in memory only and are not stored on our servers after the request completes. Google processes the image solely to return the result of your request and, under the terms applying to Google's paid API services, does not use it to train its models and provides data protection equivalent to this policy.

Generated images are stored in your private account area on our storage provider (Vercel Blob) so the app can display and re-download them. They are retained until you delete your account: using Me → Delete Account in the app immediately and permanently deletes your account record, remaining balance, and all generated images stored for your account. We never share your photos or any face data with advertisers or any other third parties, and we never sell them.

Account

If you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your name, email address, and avatar. We use these only to identify your account, restore your purchases, and show your profile inside the app. We never post on your behalf.

Purchases

Subscriptions and photo packs are processed entirely by Apple. We receive a signed transaction receipt (product, transaction ID, expiry) to unlock your benefits — never your payment details.

Feedback

If you send feedback in the app, we store the message and your email so we can reply.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.
• We don't use your photos to train AI models.
• We don't collect your contacts, location, or browsing history.

Data retention & deletion

Generation history is stored on your device and disappears when you delete the app. To delete your account and all server-side data (account record, remaining balance, and generated images), use Me → Delete Account inside the app — deletion is immediate and permanent.

Children

PoseMe is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We'll update this page if our practices change; material changes will be noted in the app.
